Where it all started...
At the age of 4, my mom gave me a toy camera (and it was clearly awesome, I mean the bedazzle really makes it!!). My ambition as a child was to take pictures of the people that I loved, mostly consisting of my mom and my twin brother. This focus I will forever hold onto.
Who you love is important to me.
When I was 11 years old, my grandma passed away. She and I shared a really special connection, and it feels unfair that I have so few memories with her. While going through photos that I took with my toy camera, and I found pictures I took of my grandma. I couldn't believe I had captured her from my perspective. From the very beginning, I focused on photographing the people I love.
My grandma meant so much to me, and my time with her was short.
I want to take photos of the people you love, for the short time that you have with them.

I reached out to Lena in hopes of capturing the special moment when I asked the love of my life to marry me.
